About J & S Kennels
J & S Kennels conceptually was dreamed of and discussed by my wife and I in 2005. I'm so lucky to have a partner who keeps the dream moving forward, in 2006 we were looking at the modest 10 acre property where we live and I was saying no way I'm going to live there. Well it's years later and I love where we are, it is perfect for our small operation. We thank God and His guidance for making this the perfect home for us and our Gordon’s.
A lot of people ask about our name J & S Kennels, most wonder about the “J” assuming the “S” is for my last name. Well, we can tell you J & S Kennels is all about our Gordon’s. The “J” is for our fist sire, Springset Just Jammin’ (Jay) the “S” is for our first dam, Springset Second to None (Sam). They gave us a surprise first litter in early spring of 2007, 10 male puppies of which we kept “J & S Tucker is Intense” who is a big teddy bear around the kennel and a bird finding machine in the field. We have grown to six Gordon’s on site 3 male, 3 female. We have since lost Jay and Sam (she was the best bird dog I ever hunted behind) lost her due to complications to her aborting a litter in 2012. We lost Jay in Aplil of 2014(passed in his sleep). Jay is in the snow and Sam is retreiveing a quail during her last hunt.

J & S Kennels is a small hobby breeder with the goal of providing quality gun dogs. We strive to produce one litter a year to customers who will provide a quality home for our dogs. Our dogs are proven early starters as I have hunted all my dogs on wild game at 6 to 7 months old. We will provide training on a limited basis, contact us for more information on our training capabilities. Contact us for breeding schedule or to reserve a pup from a future breeding. The future of J &S Kennels is to produce up to 2 litters per year in the coming years and to provide a more extensive training program.
